  • The Committee

The African Committee of Metrology, a non-profit organization, was founded on March 31, 2005, to meet the needs of African Industry for metrology.

For the economic and industrial development of Africa, the African competencies need to be recognized. The African Committee of Metrology contributes to putting the emphasis on these competencies.
The committee is encouraged by many organisations such as NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology), ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation and Cooperation), EA (European Cooperation for Accreditation),...

  • Members

Although the majority of committee members are industrialists, the committee is meant for all organisations or people interested in metrology. Since the first international demonstration organized in Casablanca in April 2006, the African Committee of Metrology has seen the number of its members increase.
