The first international conference of metrology in Africa was organized by the African Committee of Metrology from April 4th to 6th, 2006. This conference dealt with the evolution of metrology in several fields : industry, quality, environment, safety and research. Many people participated, they came from Morocco, France,..., Algeria, Egypt or Australia. Six training seminars were proposed, about flow rate, temperature, electricity, and mass calibration. The conference was supported by companies such as OCP, LPEE, Mettler Toledo and Krohne. |
